General Information: African Crested Porcupines originate from Italy, North Africa, and Sub - Saharan Africa.  The average lifespan is 12 - 15 years.  Adult size is approximately 24" - 33" long!

Porcupines are a low maintenance, easy to care for pet.  They require an outside enclosure with a concrete base to prevent digging.  They have a very social personality and enjoy attention!  Not only are they very interactive, they are suprisingly sweet if raised as a hand feeding baby!

Diet: Once weaned, we feed our African Crested Porcupines rodent block, fruit and vegetables.
