The result of a massive asteroid impact approximatel 29 million years ago near what is today Eastern Libya and Western Egypt.  It is widely considered to be the purest form of Tektite at approx. 98% Silica, with trace occurrences of high-temperature minerals and cristobalite.  Includes certificate of authenticity and display case!
