Monkeys are not a good fit for everyone, however, in the right home, they are amazing pets!

We will not adopt to anyone if your household has someone under the age of 17.  This is not a suggestion or up for debate, it's for the safety of the animal.

For Florida residents, a free class 3 permit is required.  For more information on the permit, visit www.PanhandleExotics.com/permit.htm  No permit is needed for Alabama.  If you live in anothe state, check your laws first.  It is your responsibility to know your local laws.

*  MONKEYS ARE NOT KEPT IN THE STORE!  Marmosets are by special order to approved homes only.  This is for the safety of the animal.  Once paid for, it is usually 30 - 60 days until they are in store and ready for pickup.  Once you have reserved your monkey, we will help you with the permit process.  

To adopt a monkey follow these steps

Step Two.  If you think they are a good fit for you and your family, add to cart and check out.

Step Three.  We will contact you within 24 hours, or you are welcome to come by or call us at (850) 542-4410 for help with the application process.

Step Four. Once you have reserved your monkey, it is typically 30 - 60 days on average for them to be in the store ready for pickup.  Please note, unless we agree to terms for transport before you make your purchase, primates must be picked up from our store in Pensacola once ready.

Transport: Can't pickup your pet?  Not a problem!  We offer transport to most legal US states, excluding California, Hawaii & Alaska.  If you need your pet shipped, be sure to add pet transport to your cart seperately before checking out.  It is not included in the price of the animal.  Most Florida routes are done by us.  Transport to other states is provided by a third party transporter.  To view rates for transport, or to schedule, visit www.PanhandleExoticsTransport.com

Pet Boarding: If you are purchasing a pet and unable to pickup right away, are waiting for the next transport route, or waiting for your permit to get finalized, don't worry, we won't resell your pet or cancel your purchase! There is no fee the first 48 hours!  After the first 48, we do have to add a small boarding fee which helps cover the cost of feeding, cleaning, and general care of your pet, while it awaits your (or the transporters) arrival.
